Returning for his 25th consecutive season at the Pavilion playing his own brand of live dance music for Modern Ballroom, Modern Sequence, Old Time, Latin American, Jive and Rock ‘n Roll and as always, Ray Kirk is always happy to accept and include requests for any particular favourites as programs are never drawn up in advance.

As the Pavilion has one of the largest dance floors in the north of England, it happily accommodates experienced dancers together with those who are just learning and all stages in between in a very casual and friendly atmosphere.

Dances start informally at 1pm to recorded dance music and change to live music at 1.30pm until 4pm. The admission charges have been maintained for 2026 at £5.00 per person.

What better way to spend Tuesday afternoons than with three hours dancing in the relaxing and convivial environment of a large ballroom overlooking the sea and the North Yorkshire coast?
