Whitby Folk Week offers a wide range of events, across the whole town

with traditional music, dancing, singing, and storytelling there’s something for everyone, plus a full programme for Children & Youth. Sunday afternoon (from 4.30pm) see the annual Dance Extravaganza in the Whitby Pavilion Main Hall, which is free admission, or why not come along to one of the ceilidhs here, there’s a family one each evening in the Exhibition Hall followed by a general one in the Main Hall most nights, especially the themed Winter Wonderland ceilidh on Thursday. There are also afternoon and evening concerts in the Spa Theatre.
